Being at the beginning of the feed-to-food chain is an enormous responsibility - and one Trouw Nutrition takes very seriously.

We know we must provide our customers with nothing less than excellence, because whether you are a feed compounder, an integrator, a distributor or a home-mixing farmer, you want good, safe, healthy animal feed.

And that's what our rigorous quality procedures ensure we deliver.

Quality Assurance has always been our focus at Trouw Nutrition UK. We have been accredited to BSEN ISO 9002 by Lloyds Register Quality Assurance since the 16th July 1991. In addition we were one of the first manufacturers of supplements and premixes to be accredited to the UKASTA Feed Assurance Scheme (UFAS), a quality benchmark for the industry.

We have independently assessed procedures that deal with all aspects of our business. We take great care to control the risk of cross-contamination. We were one of the first in the industry to adopt the use of the HACCP system, which examines all aspects of the production process and its impact on the integrity of the finished product. A range of control measures are in place, that minimise the risk of cross contamination. To support those measures we have dedicated production lines for specific production areas.

With such stringent quality procedures in place, we are confident of our ability to supply products which meet the highest standards of our customers and of the whole feed-to-food chain.
