Protect value feed with Selko-TMR
It is important to consider protecting TMR from costly spoilage throughout the year, but especially at times of elevated ambient temperatures. Trial work has shown that the effects of spoilage and yeast proliferation regularly reduced nutritional value, and led to reduced palatability and associated reduction in feed intakes.
With this in mind, Trouw Nutrition GB is running a Selko-TMR Campaign from Tuesday, 3rd May until Friday, 30th September 2016.
Selko-TMR is a non-corrosive synergistic blend of buffered organic acids. Selko-TMR focuses on inhibiting fermentation of TMR, as well as the co-products, processed feeds and silage that it contains, by helping to control growth of spoilage microorganisms, specifically yeasts.
As part of the campaign we are offering the following product promotion for you to pass on to your end-user customers:
Purchase 500kg of Selko-TMR, receive 25kg free of charge*.
Purchase 1000kg of Selko-TMR, receive 75kg free of charge*.
At the end of the campaign period we will credit you for any free of charge of product you have supplied under this offer on receipt of proof of transaction (e.g. copy of invoice).
To support the campaign we have produced a product brochure:
Selko-TMR Test Kits
In order to further illustrate the preservative action of Selko-TMR, test kits are now available. These can be used to practically demonstrate the temperature difference between a sample of Selko-TMR "treated" and "untreated"TMR.
Selko-TMR will target spoilage microbes which are responsible for heating. After 24 - 48 hours, the difference in temperature between a "treated" and "untreated" TMR sample should be most noticeable.
The kit includes:
Two re-usable temperature probes
1 x dose-sized sample of Selko-TMR
Please complete and submit the order form, indicating whether you require any test kits and / or brochures:
Please contact Alice Hibbert, Feed Additives Technical Manager, with any questions regarding the product or campaign.
*Please note free of charge material is ex works Ashbourne, and subject to standard haulage rates.
