To help meet the growing demands for high quality customer and product support, we have expanded our Pig Support Team based in Ashbourne. Lee Thompson joins us as Swine Account Manager.
Lee Thompson joins the company as Swine Account Manager bringing a wealth of experience to the role having been in the industry for 14 years. He worked in Australia for a year on an outdoor unit as well as managing a herd here in the UK. He has overseen all aspects of pig industry with indoor and outdoor based production, as well as working alongside farmers to develop and achieve improved performance through simple on farm changes and a practical approach.
He has experience of the feed industry having previously been a pig specialist with Harbro. More recently he worked for GE Baker (UK) Ltd - Quality Equipment, supporting farmers with on farm projects and development of the business.
He is also Co-Chair of the YNPA, putting on events and helping shape the future for the next generation of UK pig farmers.
In my role as Swine Account Manager I will be responsible for shaping and delivering our swine nutrition strategy, driving forward innovative and sustainable solutions, and ensuring our products help nutritionists achieve exceptional performance while supporting a more sustainable future for the industry.
