That’s why we’re working closely with certified suppliers, including those recognized by EcoVadis and similar sustainability schemes, to develop packaging solutions that reduce waste, improve recyclability, and lessen our environmental footprint.
A step forward: Recycled content in packaging
We are taking measurable steps toward more sustainable packaging by incorporating recycled materials into the products we use every day.
- 100% of our new plastic bags now contain 30% recycled material.
- 100% of our stretch film now contains 30% recycled material.
By using recycled materials in these essential packaging components, we are reducing demand for virgin plastic and helping close the loop in the plastics economy.
Sourcing better packaging is just the beginning. By partnering with responsible suppliers and prioritising sustainable materials, we’re driving long-term change across our supply chain. Our next step is to ensure that 100% of new tote bags will also contain 30% recycled material.
