Webinar 1: What Winter Challenges Do Our Calves Face?

Webinar
Ruminants

27/01/2022 - 27/01/2022

Research shows that achieving a higher growth rate in the pre-weaned calf has a lasting impact on performance and that the first eight weeks in the life of young calves are crucial to maximise performance. Calves are more vulnerable to cold temperatures than adult cattle and it is important to have a strategy in place to maintain their health and wellbeing during the winter months, as well as their productivity. Register for our joint webinar with the University of Nottingham from 12:30pm to 2:00pm on Thursday, 27 January 2022 to explore the winter challenges faced by our calves.

Fundraising Activities

With current challenges and pressures involved in farming and agriculture it is important that we recognise the valuable work that charities complete and the importance of having a support network available for farmers and families within the farming community.

Please help Trouw Nutrition GB and University of Nottingham in the joint fundraising efforts for their nominated charities:

University of Nottingham's Nominated Charity
The Farm Safety Foundation (Yellow Wellies) - www.yellowwellies.org

Trouw Nutrition GB's Nominated Charity
The Farming Community Network (FCN) – www.fcn.org.uk

As a guide, a minimum £5 contribution would benefit the work these charities do. No matter how small or large, every donation can have an important impact. Trouw Nutrition GB will be matching the final donation total; all money raised will be split equally between the two organisations.
