Todays commercial farming systems place various stressors on animals which can severly impact the intestinal tract, in particular piglets at weaning or broilers after diet changes are production stages that are notable as stress points. This combined with the pressure to remove antibiotics increases the need for alternative solutions. Presan is part of the gut health programme that focuses on microbial control and enhancing gut integrity, helping to improve animal performance. This is particularly beneficial in supporting the animal when it is subjected to stresses and challenging environments.
Presan is a synergistic blend of phenolic compounds, slow release C12, target release butyrates, medium-chain fatty acids (MCFA) and organic acids with a high pKa-value. The ingredients are carefully selected to support 2 pillars from our health strategy:
